Video-Shooting in Linz
To have a really good teaser, attract interest for the youth workshops during the OELV Easter Camp and reach a bigger community with the topic, the Austrian Atheltics project group for “Sport respects your rights” decided to produce a short video clip. The shooting took place during the National Indoor Championships with full support of the Federation’s leadership. For the main parts of the film they were able to recruit well-known personalities within the Austrian sports movement. Austrian Athletics Sportsdirector Hannes Gruber and the two current best athletes, Beate Schrott (100m hurdles, Olympic finalist, London 2012) and Andreas Vojta (1500m, Olympic participant, London 2012), talked about the project, the topic itself, the responsibility of coaches and the upcoming activities in spring and summer 2014.
Through the excellent job of Veronika and Paul, two of the Federation’s multipliers for this project, who led through the whole video and engaged several athletes for short statements during the shooting an excellent production was possible.
As scheduled the video of the Austrian Athletics Federation was presented in the opening session of the Easter Camp, April 12-18, in Schielleiten/Styria. Furthermore the video was published as the top-news of the Federation’s webpage and on the two Facebook pages of the Federation (ÖLV Youth and Austrian Athletics).
